Well...we're almost there. It's so hard to believe that Kennedy will be here very soon! Kris and Kennedy talk all the time about their plans for tea parties (which I'm not invited to, by the way) and visits to Kent Lake, and books their gonna read together. One night, while I slept, they were up playing. He tapped the belly, then she would tap back. This went on for at least ten minutes!
Her room is finally painted and ready for all of her things. Although it's not his favorite thing to do, Kris is a master painter. You'd think we hired a professional service to come in and do it.
Now when she moves, you can feel her head, a knee, maybe an elbow, and her little foot, which she LOVES to wedge in between my stomach and my last rib right around bed time.
...and so we wait, on pens and needles...

Thank you for sharing your blog with me. I'm sorry that I missed you for the California Baby Shower. Devina & Dayan did tell me about it at Nakendra's shower or was it Kunesha's shower. Anyways, I didn't realize it was coming up so soon, I was going to try to crash. :) Your little angel will share the same name as Kunesha & Thurston's new baby, Kennidy Amaja Ball.
I am extremely happy for you both and also want to say that I am very proud of you. Lateefah, I remember when you and Kris were "just friends" and you would ask the bible study group to pray for your friend Kris and his classmates for "this" or "that" test that was coming up. What a wonderful love story the two of you have. Know that I try to keep you in my prayers and ask that you would do the same for me.
