3-D Untrasound

Dear Kennedy,
Today, we had an appointment to have a 3-D ultrasound taken of you. You are 29 weeks and 3 days old, so we had a good look at you. Your daddy came and was excited to see you in utero. He “ooooo-ed” and “aahhhhh-ed” right along with me and he was very instrumental in trying to get you to look up for your photo.
Despite our greatest efforts, you did not cooperate with the ultrasound tech. You would not turn your face a little to your right so that she could get a good shot of you from above with the 3-D camera. But we did see you do some really cool things like:
□ Move your lips to take a drink
□ Open your eyes and look around
□ Move your arms in front of your face (As if to say, “Please paparazzi, no more
pictures!”)
□ Turn to show us your heartbeat (a four-chambered view)
□ Wave hello! (ok, it looked like you were waving to us)

I guess we’re content with letting you keep this ONE secret from us. But we just cannot wait to see what you look like...
